Greenhill Cattery

On weekends, I volunteer at the Greenhill Human Society as a Cattery Companion. It's a wonderful environment for cats and makes for a relaxing escape from busy, every day life. Today I finally remembered to bring my camera in.

If you're interested in adopting a cat, visit the Cattery Profile page to learn more about each cat and the adoption process.

Space Needle photo featured on Heart of Washington

Friend and fellow Digital Arts alum, Johnny Nguyen, has featured my photo of the Seattle Space Needle on the site he's working on, Heart of Washington.

First Time Lapse Test

Yesterday I conducted my first "real" time lapse test. The first shot runs a little long, and the second shot has dust on the lens, but I'm more or less satisfied with it. The next challenge will be finding a more interesting subject, and carrying out a wider variety of shots. I should also remember to turn off Auto White Balance and set the lens to Manual Focus in the future. Cudos to Trash80 for the soundtrack.

Macro photo featured on S2000 Blog

Using a reversed 50mm and Vivitar 285HV flash, I photographed Gabe's small tear in his S2000 soft-top, which he has featured on The S2000 Blog.

The S2000 Blog is a site featuring stories and articles by Honda S2000 enthusiasts Dan Crouch and Gabe McGinnis.

Portland 2009

On my return from Seattle, I also took the opportunity to stop off in Portland for a couple of hours and photograph some old places of my child hood. This is the church from St Agatha's Catholic School, which I can't guarantee that I didn't fall asleep in during Friday mass.
